Hello, pet parent!
My name is Lauren Goff and I'm the owner of Palisade Pet Sitters. After providing pet care services on Rover for a year, I noticed some trends from my clients; From house sitting quotes starting at $170/night, sitters cancelling last minute, or sitters leaving the home a mess, quality pet care seemed hard to come by. As I started to build a clientele, I saw an opportunity to create something bigger for both myself and my community.
And so, I formed Palisade Pet Sitters LLC in 2024. The name is an ode to my Dad's family business, The Palisade Lumber. With humble beginnings, I hope to grow this small business into a team of caring, animal-loving folks who can service several parts of Tucson.

We'll always meet with you before booking so that it'll feel less like a stranger entering your home, and more like your trusted family member. We pride ourselves on helping you feel comfortable, being transparent, and not taking advantage of the trust we establish.
You may have heard of a few pet sitting horror stories, where a dog "unexpectedly" attacks the sitter. Our pet sitters are informed on force-free pet care and dog behavior, and our services are positive reinforcement-based. This ensures (as much as possible) the safety of both your pet and the sitter. It also ensures the emotional wellbeing of your pet; in an uncertain time where you're away from home, we'll reassure your pet through loving, compassionate care.
Despite the inherent casual nature of pet sitting, we take our job very seriously. You can rest assured that the same person who is gushing over your adorable pet, is also a professional who can be trusted with responsibility. Additionally, we don't accept bookings lightly. As pet owners ourselves, we know the pain of having sitters cancel last minute. We truly respect your time and have worked hard to be known for our dependability and reliability.

Services
With each service, you will receive updates with pictures as requested. Tips are greatly appreciated as they help keep our rates low, but they're not required. We accept cash, check, and Zelle.
House Sittings
We'll stay in your home overnight. We bring our own food/drinks and bedding. We'll preserve your pets routine and take care of your home while you're away. We may leave throughout the day, but never for more than 7hrs total per day, and not for more than 3hrs at a time (unless otherwise requested).
Prices:
$40/night
+$15/additional pet
Puppies under 1 year: $50/night
Drop-Ins
We come to your home to do whatever you might need; feeding, litter cleaning, letting your dog out, playtime, etc. (not including walks)
